1. About browseAnywhere
browseAnywhere is an enterprise browser security platform. Depending on your subscription, it may include desktop or endpoint agents, cloud-hosted administration and policy services (the Admin Console), analytics, integrations, and the browseanywhere.ai marketing website. References to the "service" mean browseAnywhere as made available to your organisation under these terms or a separate agreement.
2. Agreement and eligibility
By creating a tenant, installing agents, signing in, or otherwise using browseAnywhere, you confirm that you have authority to bind your organisation and that all users you invite will comply with these Terms of Service. If you are using browseAnywhere only as an individual evaluator (for example during a trial), you agree on your own behalf.
3. Licence to use browseAnywhere
Subject to these terms and your subscription status, we grant your organisation a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use browseAnywhere for internal business purposes. You may:
- Deploy browseAnywhere endpoint agents only to devices your organisation owns or is authorised to manage.
- Use the Admin Console and related cloud services solely to administer your own tenant and end users.
- Operate within the seat count, platform scope, and feature tier reflected in your order, checkout, or written agreement with us.
You may not:
- Resale, sublicensing, white-labelling, or commercial redistribution of browseAnywhere or its documentation.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from browseAnywhere except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
- Removing, obscuring, or altering proprietary notices, trademarks, or licence files shipped with the software.
- Using browseAnywhere to build or train a competing enterprise-browser or managed-browser security product.
- Circumventing technical limits, licence checks, or usage metering we apply to protect the service.
4. Trials, orders, and fees
Free trials and paid plans are offered as described on our pricing page, checkout flow, or an order form / statement of work we execute with you. Fees, renewal terms, taxes, and payment cadence are those stated at purchase unless we agree otherwise in writing. Failure to pay amounts when due may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Accounts, tenants, and administrators
You are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding administrator credentials, and configuring identity providers (such as SSO) correctly. You must promptly notify us of any suspected compromise or unauthorised use of your tenant. We may rely on instructions from your designated administrators when acting on account or security requests.
6. Acceptable use
You must use browseAnywhere in compliance with applicable law and your internal policies. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to use browseAnywhere to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including export controls and sanctions.
- Infringe intellectual property or misuse confidential information belonging to us or a third party.
- Introduce malware, exploit kits, or other harmful code into browseAnywhere or your browsing sessions.
- Probe, scan, or attack our infrastructure, other tenants, or third-party sites except as part of authorised security testing we have approved in writing.
- Use browseAnywhere to send spam, phishing, or other deceptive communications.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, tenants, or systems outside your organisation.
7. Updates, beta features, and changes
We continually improve browseAnywhere. We may deploy updates to agents, cloud services, or documentation; where practical we will communicate material changes through the Admin Console, release notes, or email. We may also modify these Terms of Service; we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent. Optional or beta features may be offered as-is and withdrawn without notice.
8. Intellectual property
browseAnywhere, its branding, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by browseAnywhere and its licensors. Except for the limited licence in Section 3, no rights are granted to you. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.
9. Privacy and security
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining any consent or lawful basis required for your organisation's use of browseAnywhere with your personnel and for configuring retention and logging in line with your regulatory obligations.
10. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other in connection with browseAnywhere. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect that information and use it only to deliver or receive the service, subject to standard exceptions (for example, information that becomes public through no fault of the receiving party).
11. Disclaimers
browseAnywhere is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or meet every requirement of your regulated industry without your own configuration and oversight.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither browseAnywhere nor its suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to these terms or the service. Our aggregate liability for direct damages arising out of or related to the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees your organisation paid us for browseAnywhere during that period (or, if none were paid, one hundred currency units). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify browseAnywhere against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access if we reasonably believe there is a security risk, violation of law, or breach of these terms. Either party may terminate paid subscriptions according to the cancellation terms in your order. Upon termination, your right to use browseAnywhere ceases; we may delete tenant data after an applicable retention period described in our Privacy Policy or your agreement.
15. General
These Terms of Service are the entire agreement between you and browseAnywhere regarding the subject matter here and supersede any conflicting general terms on a purchase order, unless we have signed a separate master agreement that explicitly references browseAnywhere and prevails. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Assignment by you requires our prior written consent; we may assign in connection with a merger or sale of assets. Unless otherwise agreed in your order form, these terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and courts in New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer or employment protections apply in your jurisdiction.
